hello, i believe the mafs is faulty in my 92 240sx. Anyway I have my hands on a 96 q45 mafs. It appears in alldata that the voltage outputs are approx. the same between the two sensors, except the q45 one maxes out 1 volt higher at 4. Does anyone have any experience retrofitting the q45 sensor into a 92 240sx? Im just looking for a few tips before waste an hour or so trying to hook it up. Thanks.

The voltage curves are VERY different...despite what the idle and WOT voltage readings are.

You need an S-AFC to make it work.

It may idle, and it may drive (I doubt it)...but it won't do either very well.

alright then. I didnt want to hook it up anyway. Where do you get the curves data? I know the service manual does not supply them.
