mafs problem need help

hey still got a problem with the stock mafs. Ive came to the conlusion that it is bad. (when i plug it in when the car is idleing it dies). So I have a sohc ka mafs will it work fine and how do i wire it up to work. Also does any other mafs work besides z32, q45, etc...... thanks

the ka24e maf should plug right up. my brother is using my old ka24e maf on his sr.

well the sohc ka plug has three wires and the ca has four im not how they plug up ?? ..........

Do a quick research with the search button there a couple of post where they explain how. Did you check your Ecu for code ? if the Ecu give no code .. maybe its a vacuum related problem.

I think its a maf problem... I had trouble with my first maf causing the car to run like crap, but the ECU gave me the "all is good here" sign. I don't know what triggers the self diagnostic to say something is bad, but it doesn't always work right. Your symptoms are very much maf related.

ok, I looked at the fsm, here are the wiring KA harness Black = groundBlack/white = 12voltswhite = signal 0-5volts Ca harness Black = groundBlack/white =12voltsgreen/black = signal signal 0-5vgreen/yellow no connection so the Ka Black goes to CA black = groundKA Black/white goes to CA black/white =(12voltska white goes to CA green/black = signal 0-5volts

This should be right, it how mines wired
