Im a bit bummed that the Finnish Mafia didnt make the cut. j/kNot sure how I can quantify a vote. Watching International Police shows, the way the Russian police go after the Russian Mob leads me to believe that the Russian Mafia has to be tough.

the Italians are the dirtiest players in the game, they've just gotten lazy and that shows weakness to let the others move in.

Asian gang members cut off their own pinkies to give to other people in their gangs whom they've offended. If they're willing to do that to themselves for their own kind whom they've offended. I'm willing to bet that they'll do pretty ****ed up things to people.

Why wouldn't the Russian police be anything else? I mean you live in Russia, in less than one generation you've gotten like 10 empires that fell. It's cold, the government sucks. Man, I'd be pissed too.

We're pretty ****in' lenient compared to most countries.

Police Brutality isn't in the dictionary over there. There's probably no way to say it in Russian....

i dunno, im gonna have to speak up for my south american friends. the drug cartels are some pretty messed up mofuggers. i mean, c'mon, havent you seen delta force 2??? that guy stole the baby, killed it, and stuffed it full 'o' drugs.

Well Delta Force 2 is fiction. It would serve all of us to take a step back from myths, stories and fiction. In the 80's and early 90's, while Crack/Cocaine exploded on the US scene the Columbian Cartels waged war on the people of Columbia. When the Wall fell in Germany and the Evil Empire fell in Russia, funding for Communist Guerillas stopped. You had a merger between the Communist Insurgents and the Narco-traffickers. It didn’t help that the US was pumping billions of dollars into the Columbian Military. Hit squads were formed and Paramilitaries were bolstered to combat this new threat which made these two bitter enemies partners in trying to overthrow the govnerment in Bogota. The Medellin Cartel under the control of Pablo Escobar was brutal and assassinated, Politicians, Judges, Policemen and innocent women and children. Make no mistake; the Columbian Cartels are up there in history, they are not as feared now as they use to be. The US is making sure of that.

well, i was joking about the movie, but yeah, i know how hardcore they used to be. people tended to disappear if you crossed the cartel.
