I have had this code on the car for about 3 days and the car has been running like crap. I havent been driving it since I cant get a good idle. Today I unplugged my maf and the car seemed to run a little better with it off. Then my friend says "hey this is unplugged" and plugs it back in while the car is running. The car dies with in a second. Could him plugging it in while the car is running burn up the wires to the ecu? Anybody know how I can fix this?

check for continuity across the wires from the mafs to the ecu. if they all read ok, then replace the mafs.

How would I do that? With a voltemeter?
