is there a way to test the maf on a hbody? i have no luck finding info, some times the truck will bog down little bit during acelleration when peddle is depressed at certain point, then if depress more past certain point engine jumps to life. the more i messed with intake the better car ran. at one point just pushing on one side of the complete air filter housing would cause the engine to stall at idle. have replaced rotor cap and fuel filter checked timing looked for vacume leaks and all seams to be in order. some times it pulls fine other times it bogs down a little. just wondering if there is a way to test the maf, and if that is really my troubles P.S cant spell for s@#t sorry bout that part thanks for any info.

Check for air leaks in the rubber housing or the hoses in that area I had a problem once had to hammer it to get in third there was a hole in the intake rubber duct tape fixed it.Tony
