ok - car shooting out black - grey smoke-- - now i extanded my maf wire - was pretty long- also have another maf plug cuz other was missing the clip inside

-- now this other maf plug i have doesnt match the stock one-now the wiring goes-black- black - grey dot-thick whitewhite

-- on the stock on there is only one Whiteand it also has a black with White stripe-

now how would i hook this other maf plug up---

bumpstill need to figure this out-- here is my wiring for the Rb maf-along with the Unknow MAF i have-

rb mafpin 1 blankpin 2 soild blackpin 3 black / grey dotpin 4 soild white-pin 5 black / white line

------------------------------unknown MAF plug-----------------------------

pin 1- blankpin 2 = soild blackpin 3 black / grey dotpin 4 soild whitepin 5 white/ grey dot-

if anybody can help

iv tryed to dirrect connect the maf straight to pin not using plug didnt work- next is trying to get this maf plug hooked up correctly-

Anyhow, what color is the label on the side of the mafs, and what numbers are on it?

Also make sure you sheilded your wires when you extended them!

they are Green- i belive one is j90 not to sure-

but im looking for the wiring - so i can wire this one up-

Dunno about j90, but j60 is a rb20det mafs. I just sold one a while back.

yes its a J60 ---- ok i just switched the pins over to the new clip- car willl not keep idle what so ever-it will stay on , if i give it gas it will rev then just die right afterstarting to think its no the maf---- maybe----bad FPRfuel pump is the stock- injectors

is you IC piping connected? if not, what youre saying will happen. anotherthing, my first MAF that i got, even though it was the rightone, was ****. so i had to order a new one.

IC piping is hoooked up-I took off my front bumper so that i had eazy access to the IC piping so icould test it. The intercooler piping is goood I think it might be the MAF-it was running before- Im going to Try my other Maf also could YOU tell me the wiring for the MAF just so i could double check the wiring lll searched llll nothing found

make life easy on yourself. make sure you buy the correct maf (search) and make sure it comes with the 'pigtail' which is the wire clip with the cut wires that you can splice into your harness. as you probably know you will need to extend them, but the wires are very visibly easy to connect as they are all different looking. i think two look the same but can still be differentiated.

now - all i did was switch the PINS from the new plug over to the Rb20 MAF stock plug-so i didint change anything, now if somebody would just read off the wire color and pin- so i can double check these wires--- also changed to a diffrent maf same one but diffrent maf - Car starts but once i REV the car it just dies right out- im going to trace back my maf wires all the way to the ECU just to make sure-cleaned the AAC- timing hasnt been ever checked , need to figure out that - LINK to DIY timing would be nice

so problems the same-also when i Have a battery charger hooked up to the car and start it, With the charger off it runs like **** - but when i Turn it on it idles fine- no smoke- just still will rev than die-My ? is - can the fuel pump cuz the car to Run this way not pushing enuff fuel- FPR- wiating for check so i can oder a fuel pumpFPR-but will contiuni to work on until that can happen
