i want to go turbo and there is two kits that i am looking at one that has a maf and one that does not. i have both an aem short ram and was woundering if i would need a 300z maf if i use the aem intake.

Your MAF has nothing to do with what intake you use, but rather how much power you are looking to make. Stock KA and SR MAFs cannot properly meter the amount of air necessary to measure the airflow that big HP cars demand. I do not remember the max power limits for the KA or SR MAFs, but do remember offhand that the Z32 MAF is good for around 500whp.

o i thought the maf was at the end of ur intake. is that right or is that somthing else

It is, but it won't affect your intake setup much, because of the reducer. It just requires a different MAF Adaptor to go Z32. Oh, and the limits are in the 250hp range for KA and SR. N60 is about 320hp, and N62 is near 500 (but in all fairness, you should think about standalone at that level of power).
