i have heard and seen a couple of people elimidate the maf sensor and use a map sensor. i am wondering what map did they/you use or how you would even wire it up so your ecu know whats going on. And how would it effect tuneablity? it would be great if somebody would inlighten me. thanks,

Nick

Uhhh, vpc...they can be a nightmare in a box.

There are other piggybacks out there that will let you do this though. I'd say just go standalone if you're dead set on MAP. Tuning becomes a PITA with a map. Changes in air temp, humidity, parts, ect all 'require' you to retune (although it is easier to tune a map based car than a maf). Maf based standalones are better for street cars IMO.
