Looking for anyone running (or has ran) into a similar problem as this: Car does a few ridiculous things now that the weather is getting insanely hot here in Las Vegas. Thing 1.) Does not want to start on occasion. Car will crank, solonoid working, no fire.Thing 2.) Feels like total power loss every once in a while when throttle partially (or wholely) engaged - give gas - no response, like airflow meter not metering air at all, will then recover, and run normal again.Thing 3.) Dies on occasion upon coming to a stop.

THe weather here has been way over 100° since the start of June, but this is the first time these problems are surfacing in this severe way. THe maf is right under my hot pipe (they touch), I will try thermal wrapping the hotpipe to see if that helps. The car rarely does this at night time, unless several hard passes have been put on. Car has been running very warm in the daytime hours. Any help appreciated.

if your trouble shooting, swapping the maf will be the easiest and best place to start....but u know that so why are you bothering me?!!!!!! : )

I hate internet diagnostics, because its so hard to know without being there.....but i wouldnt be suprised if your maf is sh.it, knowing some of your cars history.

later pimpyy
