My 2000 QX4 has been acting up off late. It previously quit while driving and would crank over but not start. After checking a lot of stuff, it turned out to be spark plugs. They were black and sooty. I replaced all of them and it started right back up. It drove good for a while until the CEL came on and the (only )code I get is P0160. Also, the truck is stalling and hesitating and dying at red lights more often than not. The RPMS keep dropping and are a little out of whack...Its actually a little okay without the Air Conditioner on.

I cleaned the MAF sensor but it made no difference. I am gonna check the MAF sensor and the O2 sensor (P0160) tomorrow but if I need to buy them, could you recommend anybody? Ive read that one could use the 01 MAF sensor from the Maxima for the 3.5 Qs and Pathys.
Can I use the same one or the 2000 Maxima sensor for the 2000 Qx4?
Theres a MAF sensor for 135 bucks with core at Autozone and the O2 sensor for $75 in stock. The MAF is a cardone brand.

Thanks for the help.

not sure about the sensor compatibility... the 2002+ maxima has the same 3.5L vq35 engine as the 2001+ Qx4, and the 2000 Maxima had the VQ30 engine (very similar to the vq35, so a lot of parts are compatible). Your Q has the 3.3L VG33 engine, which is a different platform than the VQ engines. I'd bet that most of the VQ stuff doesn't work with the VG engines. Hope that helps. Good luck,

Thanks for the info. I'll search on ebay for a cheaper part or simply pickup the cardone brand from autozone. Hope that sucker lasts...
