Paul was having some serious stumbling problems on his CA with a pull through setup. He switched to blow through, and it fixed his problems. I don't really know the technical reasoning behind it, but it worked better....considerably better.

From our testing, it seems that MAFS that have a straight-through path work better for blow-through than those where metered air has to make turns (like SOHC KA MAFS).

But it also depends on piping design. We have run many different cars with blow-through MAFS without problems. S14 KA+T w/S14 KA MAF, SRs, S13 KA+T w/Cobra MAFS, RB20DETs, etc.
