does anyone used a vq30de MAF on their ca?? I have read in another forum that the vq30de and vg30de maf are the same. and also if anyone might know about rewiring it to work on the ca? we compared it to my friends rb20 maf and it looks identical. just picked one up today for cheap. any info would be great,

thanks!

It depends...

If by VG30DE you mean Z32, I'm not sure the VQ30DE is the same... now all Maxima's have similar MAFs... but they're not identical to the Z32 MAFs at the bolt pattern is different (you can't put a Z32 intake on a Maxima...). I can try and check the part numbers for you tomorrow.

If you see an "N62" on the part number label on the MAF, you have the right one.

I pulled mine from a J30 in the junkyard and it has the VG30DE in it. Both are the same! Paid 50 bucks for mine with the harness.
