If you turn your car on and disconnect the MAF what does your car do?
Will it continue idling normal.
Start stuttering?
OR ????

you can disconnect it i dont suggest you do it while the car is on id say do it before you start it then turn it on.
the car will idle not normal thought it will drop and jump
and the car wont rev past 2.5k or so

id still say change the maf. had that problem on my boys boosted spec wouldnt start/stay on with the maf connected, then once we disconnected it started up fine but wouldnt rev past 2.5k would break up. so we put a scanner to it didnt say much but maf wasnt reading right volts. so we pulled one from his other spec worked perfect
and like that problem was solved
