Well, my MAF connector is bad. I know this because my car runs better as I jiggle the connection. But that being said. I'm not too sure what to do about it. I' ve cleaned it and bent the male ends hoping for a tighter fight but with no help. Can I buy these anywhere? If anyone can help my 92Q. I would be much appreciated

Don't jiggle too much or too often because this extra stress gets transferred thru the MAF pins and on to the MAF circuit board whicn can cause internal intermittents within the MAF itself. Internal solder examination and repairs is useful.

Old Q owners should all have a SPARE MAF in trunk parts box just as FPCU, ECU, TCU.......................electronic modules whose failure will stop the vehicle.

Harnesses and connectors are usually harder to swap on the side of road in a rain storm.

It's the female pins on the connector that need to be tightened not the male pins on the MAF (I'm sure that's what you meant). Clean off the corrosion on both parts also and lube them up with dielectric grease. You can replace the plug but the easiest thing to do would be to swap in a known good MAF.
