Ok guys, i have a sr s23. I had 2, kinda made one nice one out of two. When i had the sr in the original car it would rev fine, but ran so extremely rich it wasnt even funny (that car i recieved that way). when i done the swap i looked up the wiring for a z32 maf on a sr (that the maf the previous owner put on), it was wired completely wrong, missing a ground on terminal C. So i re-wired it the correct way, now the a/f ratios are fine and it responds to the safc (dont flame, because im ditching that and getting nistune) but it wont rev past 4300-4500rpm. When i unpug the maf it idle is rich of course, and wont go past 1500-2000rpm. So is the maf bad? I checked it as says the fsm and at idle its 1.2v (fsm says 1.0 - 1.7v), idle to about 4k rpm was in the 1.x's V (fsm says 1.0-1.7v to approx 4v) but when i let it return to idle the volts will stay in sub 1's for a while. What do ya'll think. It has some of the symptoms, sputters/missing at idle, wont rev past x rpm, not the best throttle response
