Ok , i didnt want to thread jack the other thread about the 300zx MAF, so i'll make my own and considering i need help fairly quick this may help...

Heres the deal, i sent my wiring harness off to the wiring specialist... They did an awesome job, and it was perfect. The problem is... the MAF venus sent me, and the MAF connector on my wiring harness.... are completely different, whereas the RB25DET MAF connector is on my harness, which is a 5 pin connector, (picture below ) THE MAF IS NOT, it is a three pin connector.

(You can see where VENUS marked RB in green, which is partly gone, but why doesnt it line up? )What bothers me, is how well this fits in here..... like it belongs there... but... freakin the connectors dont line up, and its the factory harness and all the connectors are the same and i was re-affirmed by wiring specialists that its the correct connector!

I also looked though my RB25 FSM and its the right wires and harness connector... im a little lost. Please help me out guys, it would be much appreciated...

Ok, i've been told that the maf works for vq30de maximas and I30's also 96 and up Q45's and 96 and up J30's...

So my question NOW is, if i got to nissan, and get the subconnector and re-wire it, ill have to get a SAFC-2 or E-manage to self correct for the MAF, i could run a vented BOV as well... which would help me instead of running a tube all the way across my engine bay, Im only looking to make about 250-260 whp to start off with my current mods... Do you think this plan is a good idea? Or should i just find an RB25/20 maf and call it good.
