MAF plug question

So, I am having the usual boggin and stalling issue.took my MAF sensor plug off and notice something is missing.just wanted to make sure with everyone that a piece is supposed to be there.Theres an open spot on the fourth connection.

Need so more info,what year,what engine ?

sorry, its a 1991 s13. someone just told me it only use the three prongs on the left. can anyone confirm that?

And something to check with the bogging and stalling, look at your cap and rotor, I was having alot of stalling issues and such, and I had crap loads of build up on the contact points. idles much better now...
