I've been looking at a lot of pics of different peoples setups and i notice that some people place they're MAF before the turbo on the intake and some after the turbo on the hot pipe...Are they're any benifits from either? I would think that the heat and slight oil buildup on the hot pipe could effect the readings. Any opinions? Both would read the same amount of air so why not keep it before the turbo reading air at tempatures it was designed to read.

because people want to vent their BOVs, not recirculate

I would ALWAYS make it a pull through setup whenever possible. Blow throughs just have a hard time getting things right it seems. Besides, do you really want everyone to know what you have under the hood by constantly having your blow off valve audible? Personally I consider that a theif magnet...
