MAF Install

I am hearing that switching out the MAF is relatively quick and easy. I also am Looking for the part and heard that the oem # ending in n62 is the best on my non turbo. Need help on locating part and installation--do not want to pay Nissan big $$$ for this. Also, heard the platinums have to be raplaced when MAF is bad--is this true and how hard is this process?? All Z32 mafs should be the same.

Replacement is super easy, just pop off the nose panel and there it is!

As for finding the part used, check classified, there's a bunch of them for sale.

MAF is probably one of the easiest things you will ever install on your Z.

Thanks---Can I get the answer on replacing the plugs too?? think its necessary?? As far as Maf psrt goes do I need one with the pigtail or can it be switched out using the current one(which is what I am assuming I can do)???

I have never heard anything about having to replace the plugs when you replace the MAF.

You should be able to just buy the MAF and your current harness will hook right into it. At least thats what I think you are asking about when you say "pigtail" as I have never heard that term before.

Heard the plugs switchout are a quick job too---is this true???Is reprogramming necessary after maf is reinstalled???Nissan mentioned something about reprogramming
