where and when does it "pop and hesitate"

what does it do at idle?

are you getting proper vac?

how is your mechanical timing looking?

back fire?

have you pulled your plugs and checked them?

Ok it holds a really strong idle, and by mechanical timing do you mean cams and belt right? if so its on right all the marks lined up correctly wen changing the belt. I'm not sure about the vac though, its not really like a back fire i could get a video if it would help just as soon as i give it gas it starts to pop almost like detonation if u no what that sounds like it does it gets a lot worse when you actually drive it i haven't really touched the gas at all im trying to avoid hurting it. As far as the plugs go i actually just replaced them today to get that out of the way.

could be your ignitor, could be a grounding issue, could be a coil.........

a video would help.

Ok i haven't really be messing with it much been waiting for my sr turbo i installed made a new oil feed line so it would stop leaking the leak is fixed now. Ok here the prob now i don't think its the maf nor the igniter chip. First off i took the thermostat out because it wasn't opening so now it runs really cold. But it seems if i let it set and idle with the e fans off and let it warm up it has good throttle response and pull's hard also but after like 3 min or so it starts to cut out. Could it be the no thermostat ill try to get a video soon if i can find my camera. Its really cold outside right now also so as soon as you drive it with fans off or on the temp goes all the way down.

if the breaking down is around 2500rpm then there is a problem with the AFM signal and the ECU is in limp mode.
