maf has 2 prongs? plz help

ok have a 93 coupe and i think the motor is from a s14 cause the valve cover only has 2 bolts. i just bought her a few days ago and she had a idle problem. it would die after warmed up whenever i would stop or it would go to 300rpm idle and hold. so i pulled the iacv and cleaned all the carbon mud out of it with carb cleaner, reinstalledit and it had a very high idle. when i pulled back on the gas it lowered so i adjusted the throttle cable a lil but couldnt get it down to 800rpm. i was revving it up a lil and found that it wouldnt go past 3k rpm and when it got their it did that jumping thing from 2.5k to 3k so that screamed maf. i unplug the maf to find it only has 2 connectors in the sensor and in tje harness??? wtf can some one please tell me what it is ? i have to get a new maf today its my dd and i gotta go to work. all the search i did acame

What color are the wires you have? Sounds like someone knew just enough to be dangerous with a wrench! Lol sounds like some Jimmy rigged wiring.

yes i know just enuf to b dangerous thats about it lol. And i was working on the car in the dark with a house lamp near the car and turns out it does have 3 prongs my bad for waisting everyones time...how do i delete posts?

i got a new maf and im still having the same problem. I cant figure out what it is i got a voltmeter and im pretty sure i did it right but im still throwing a code 12. could i just have a bad ecu or something? its the only code its giving me? if its not getting good continuity does that mean i need a new harness or what? is their a ground wire for the maf alone? and if so where is it located
