If anybody can help me with a detailed procedure for running a seperate wire to ground from MAF sensor i could use the advice- for example where to cut the old ground, which wire to cut and a good spot to re-ground.

I think this is the reason the ecu is going into fail-safe mode (cutting fuel at 2500 rpm) i read in the service manual that a MAF malfunction will trigger this condition. When i turn off the ignition and restart the car the computer resets and i wont have the problem again for sometimes days or a week. is there any point to checking for codes?

any advice is appreciated- ive been f---ing with this car for three months trying to diagnose it. 91 Stanza GXE (KA24E) M/T.
