Im looking to replace my MAF to the one from the 300zx. Although is the connector different from the 91-94 240's different from the 89-90 240's or the 300ZX connectors? Anyone with a personal experiance will certainly know.

Why do you want to replace your MAF with a 300zx unit? Are you putting a turbo on your car? Did you install an SR20 or RB20 or something like that?

You will need to search for the wiring.. You'll have to custom wire it together.

Hey again. My friend is droping in a SR20DET and he thought he was already useing a MAF from a 300ZX in his KA24DE right now. Thing is his MAF is the exact same as mine on my KA24DE, so I coudnt tell if we both have the stock or the upgrade. From looking online im pretty sure the 300ZX one is black and not the metal looking one we both have with the sticker yellow that shows the #'s on it. I thought you needed to convert the wires for it if upgradeing on a KA24DE harness and he never did anything but screw it on and plug it in.

Easy, Z has a plug that looks like it's got spaces for 6 wires. The SR has a plug that looks like it'll take 4 wires tops. Black plastic lookin stuff would point to a Z mafs, the plug will tell you for sure. If he did not get his ecu redone or have an AFC to let the ecu read the Z mafs, it's probably not a Z mafs but a KA24DE mafs.
