I have read that improper oil change procedures can have an effect on MAF sensor connector in some vehicles - what kinds of procedures are considered incorrect and what are the implications?

What vehicles are affected by the above?

i dont know exactly what vehicles, but i assume it is because of getting oil on the connector, probobly from unscrewing the filter and having the oil drip on it.
