I belong to another forum nissanminis.com and its been coming up alot that these mini truckers want a carburated KA for the old school clean look. I have a couple of ideas for figuring out the ignition but i just might leave that up to them. Anyway, im trying to figure out a good way to size a carb for these motors and I know the stock throttle body is a good start. It happens to be the same size and shape as the 240 MAF housng, it actually looks just like one when staring at it from above. except the trucks has an actual butterfly in it, lol.

Im looking to do a four barrel since it would be easiest to machine an adapter for, and it would add to the 'wow" factor theyre looking for.

thanks in advance for any input. peace.

Four BBL, downdraft I assume? You won't find a lot of options that won't be too big. But then again you would just be paying for too much carb. I think Edelbrock and Holley make a 550 4bbl. You could use a square bore, open flange and use a 350 holley (2300 series). It is a 2bbl, but I think you will have WAY better results with it. It isn't too big, and with the 2bbl you will get better off the line response. Of course, you could try to track down a larger 2bbl, too.
