I took a little different approach to mounting them. I think it came out quite 'clean' and I really dig the look
I cut a piece of steel in a few inch wide section and mounted the coils to it, using spacers to set them off of the bracket

Those of you familiar with the RB26 are aware of the aluminum throttle linkage bracket that sits up off the manifold. I drilled and tapped that piece in 2 spots, and used that to secure the bracket to the linkage.

For the wires, I didnt want to pay the 140+ for the MSD kit. The local shop informed me that the taylor wires were much cheaper, and could get me the boots I wanted (since I was going to have to make them anyways) I have about 100 bucks wrapped up in the wires. Fortunately, a buddy came over because he was bored so I put him to work on making the wires, while I wired up the coils

The wiring was straight forward.....Black = ground, brown = ground, pink = 12V from the relay, and the odd wire went to where the ignitor previously ran. I used a similar 6-pin MOLEX connector as others have......simple and easy.....all plug and play.
I notched the rocker cover because I didnt want 4ft long plug wires running to the back of the engine, and then forward again. This was a much better alternative in my place. Thanks to evan for the idea from his LS coil post

I cleaned up the wiring and called it a day.......initially it runs the same (as expected) We will see how much I really tax the ignition when the new borg-warner EFR turbos come out

Peace!
