The guy in the volvo just got the jump on me everytime. if we were actually organized and launched at the same time, it would have been much different. in the first two races, notice it takes about a second for me to realize that he's getting on it

Believe it not, its a KA24DE with over 200k miles. Its been boosted for approx 1k miles @ 8psi. Did a compression test a couple days ago: It's all about the tuning

Compression Test:1st-187psi 2nd-190psi 3rd-190psi 4th-193psi

P.S. Im getting a z32 MAF today so i'll bump it up to 10psi Tomorrow when my new wideband comes in

really, cuz I've got 187xxx on mine, I was planning on swappingdue to the fact that its old and tired. It burns oil, has a slight tap past 3500, I dunno if it would hold, but if It can I might just push this to the limit... what did you spend on your turbo kit? where from?

mine doesnt burn any, just drips a bit from the oil return which i have yet to fix.

I spent a lot on the turbo stuff, I got some parts from members here, people on freshalloy, summitracing, ebay, all kinds of places. Not sure about the dollar amount though.

you're the man! throw in a new valvetrain and I guess I'm right about equal to the swap cost...hmmm...apparently my car isnt burning oil just slowly leaking it damn my transmission and oilpan are disgusting. anyone know where I can get a new pan I've got a huge dent in mine. (aside from a junkyard) probably where I'll go, also where can i find nice valve train parts for my KA, and lower CP pistons. I can find SR parts anywhere but, hardly any KA parts.thanks-J.Snow
