first pass, 22psi and the sun was still up and the track was warm.second pass , 25ish psi it really came on but couldnt get traction . it was dark by then and cold with 200 street tire cars peeling off the stickiness.all passes were made with 35psi in the tires. i also made the camber on the rear tires straight when it squats down off the line.

i let the air pressure in the tires down to 18 psi and tested it once , helps make first gear pull harder for sure. maybe i will run it on tuesday, the track is gonna be closed really soon though.

yeah, some new rubber and/or lower tire pressure should help your traction issues. reguardless, thats not too bad of a 60' time.

Dang you're trapping 115+ mph. Get some drag radials man.

1.8 60' is actually pretty good. I don't think he needs anything other than more seat time..

i can gain a little on 60 foot but most of the spinning is after the 60 foot evn with drag radials. with lower pressure in the tires now it hooks like a champ and with the added grip in first i can spike second a lot harder due to more momentum off of first gear. on the street it will pretty much billow smoke off the tires but also gets moving at the same time. should be able to pull a lil more fuel on upper rpms to make it pull a lil longer. i must say this setup is a little different but with higher boost it seems like its waking up a bit.

Sweetness, I'll agree with Cory on this one. Seat time is where you'll make up the most time. As long as you keep the 60' times under 2 that is. I've only had a couple 1.6 60' times, its just hard to nail them, so a consistent under 2 is key. Grabbin gears at the right time and quickly is going to take practice, its a good thing practice is wicked fun huh.

Good to see you're running so well bro.

Even most stock Evos do right under 2.0, so yea, I agree that a sub 2.0 60' will net you accurate ETs for a street/strip car.

Second gear is most prone to spinning right next to actual launch. You'll just have to play around with that... Maybe try a second gear launch..
