similar to one of my old ones...you know, step 2s and another tune would bring that thing to life....do you have traction problems?? was the quick pass on street tires or radials or what....just want info

your car ran good, we had the motor home on the far left about 1/8 mile, that civic usually runs 11.0ish @130. i looked at the car and kinda figured what you had so you should be happy with it thats low 12/high 11 mph

That Civic left you looking like you fell asleep coming out of the hole. Looks like it was a fun day, and that's what really matters.

Nice S14

i was running on street tires (toyo t1r) the whole time. yes i do have traction problems. what can i do to take care of that. i mean obviously traction bars will help. but i was thinking for suspension right now a polyurethane bushing kit and bigger sway bars (also what is a good set up) cuz all i have for suspension is coilovers. as a matter of fact since u mention cams. a guy i met there has some jgy s3 cams. for like 300. so im gonna take him up on that.

thanks guys. yea it was a pretty track. but dont let looks deceive you. it was all up hill. when i was launching i had to hold the e brake. and people complained that the solution is always mixed improperly. but the guy who owns it takes real good care of it.

sweet cars and nice track but im definitely going to have to second radials. up at the dragway my friend was spinning them all the way through second on street tires, and that was just a stock z32 at 215 horse.

If all your going to be doing is drag racing and street diving i would ditch the coilovers and get a nice spring and shock combo. At the strip the weight transfer is key. I bet you would of run faster times if your were on stock suspension. But if you doind all kinds of racing then do what yopu want. The first thing im doing after the i get tuned is going to the track on my stock suspension. And some slicks to see what it will do. in think the coils are holdig you back.

thanks for all the info guys. i mean im not new. i know alot about my car. but there is always somthing new to learn. i didnt know that radials would make that huge of a difference. but ill invest. about the coil over situation. i love the coil overs i have on it. i had them for 3 years on there. i have no problems. they are the tanabe sustecs. but i mean i use my car for everything. street fun. and fun at the drags. if i could find a track near my house i would hit that up to but....thank you for all of your input. keep it coming

Ive had my z33 for about a month and a half and we went to branson z fest and it was 10 to enter or 15 to run the quarter so i had to. It was the first time id launched the car. i was just babying it up until then, but i smoked 1-3 and ran a 18 sec quarter. Well i almost gave up but i was like f that and ran again and ran a 14.04. that was my first time on a track and i loved it. Im building my 240 for drift tho and maybe some COMA racing at a local track
