Unlocked the doors, got out and pushed on the gas filler door....nothing! I tried again and again. Went back in the car and made sure the doors were unlocked, got back out and pushed and pushed on the filler door again. It wasn't budging. Called the dealership (thank goodness someone was still there). Told the guy what I was doing. He just giggled. He said, you usually drive a coupe don't you? I said yes. He said on the sedan you push the other side of the door. I felt like an idiot!!

Reading the manual is SO out of the question.
After every other car I owned had the lever I searched forever before finally reading the manual. Luckily I did it at home and not while at a gas station though.AZhitman wrote:When I bought my Coupe (after owning a Q45 for several years), the first time I went to buy gas, I searched relentlessly for the fuel door release.

I must be the real tool. I tend to read all my manuals, but later can't remember most of what I have read. Reminds me of graduate school.G_whizz wrote:
I did the EXACT same thing and felt like a tool. Probably spent about 5 mins looking everywhere for a release button before I did the "unmanly" thing and looked in the manual directions
