my best time was 8.5sec. :lolling:
am i doing something wrong? when should my time keeper start, as soon as the car moves?Pointers and constructive criticism welcome. :facepalm:

Yea, your doing something way wrong. Try feathering the clutch at 3k rpms, and start counting when you start moving. You should have something around 6 -6.5 seconds in the 3.5 6MT.

wow just ... wow! youre definitely doing something wrong since you got a 3.5 dude. i got a 2.5 and my 0-60 time is actually at 6.7 sec.best ive done so far. id say try going at about 2800 rpm and that should give you a good launch without burning out

Oh no :eek: a 6MT and your running 8 something :tisk: I have cvt and im in the 6something. Havent done it in a while though.

:crazy: yeah i just thought id try last night and 8'ish was my best time.
:gotme it was my first time. now what does "feather" the clutch mean.. ill give it another try when my confidence is high. :facepalm:

go to the track for a better timing. don't put too much gas in the tank, use premium and you'll do fine

we have a meet/show at the track in abq may14, ill see if i can make that. its in the evening so well see.ill have my hus' be my driver if he wants to enter. :ohno: im too afraid lol
but this weekend were going to take part in the Jemez Mtns run this saturday, looks like its going to be fun 50+ (maybe more im not sure) suppose to be there!

Oh....your husband? You're a girl? Do you race often? Might be the reason why your numbers are slower. Not a hit a girls driving at all, just a natural fact that guys and mechanical toys click better.

no this will be my first trip to the track, the only racing ive done was at traffic lights but -RARELY- . YES im 120 pounds of "Girl" stacked 5'2" high! no offense taken squid -oops-Blake! its ok.
I want to see how my baby does against this G6 GTP dude that talks soooo much trash(& other makes of course). but i wont be doing to many heated runs..maybe until i get the oil cooler kit from stillen. AND BOOST!?! Lma0 like thats ever going to happen!!

I made 3 runs one was 6.8 :frown: another was 5.9 :biggrin: and the last was 6.4 My average is 6.4 Which sounds more reasonable I think my timing was off on the 6.8.
