I think it largely depends on the individual shop as to how good the quality is. I would try to ask around to see if anyone has had experience with different Maaco shops......I know of at least 4 Maaco's around me.

Also, if you can do some prep work for them, it will help out a lot. I had an 84 Camaro back when I was 16 I had them paint it as is.....it just looked "ok" and started peeling in 2 years.....My buddy on the other hand prepped the car for them...sanded, taped, etc.....and it turned out very nice.......It's been 3 years now and it still looks very good....had some small chipping around his spoiler, but that was all.

I forget what the pricing was.......it was 9 years ago.....maybe 3-400? for them to spray my car....I did the cheaper one....I have not had experience with the higher level jobs.

i hear if you do all the prep work yourself, you get a decent paint job, you can also give the painter a little more money for a better job... try it out and show us!

I took my Mitsubishi in there already, it looks good at first but if you really look up close they do a s***ty job. They say they sand down the car and everything nope they dont. The White paint is peeling off and I see the original black undernear it. I spend 1,000.00 for it, you can do It i wouldnt personally recommend it.
