Simple question.

Which is better?

Cost is not a factor.

I am willing to listen to biased opinions.

Reliability is somewhat important.

Edit: Changed title to A6

These types of posts are pointless in my opinion.

Here is a simple answer. Go drive both and pick the one you feel better in.

It's not fair to put the M56x up against the A8........two completely different class of car. I would pick the A8 over the M56x if money is not a factor.
On the other hand it would be hard to pick between the M56x and the A6. I love them both in their own different way.

I'll take the M56 over the Audi. Simple reason being that over the life of the car, the Audi will cost you more money to own.

Having owned German in the past, and having a good friend who is an Audi fanatic, I would choose the M56. Modern German cars have issues with electronics going bad and engine sludge. I really don't understand why people like them enough to put up with such major issues. Infiniti is simply more fun to drive & more reliable in my book.

The M45's of the past have had their fair share of issues though. Electronics needing to be replaced because of the fuel gauge and engine burning way too much oil. No one knows how the M56 is in reliability because the car is too new. For all we know Nissan may have cut a lot of corners to save money and the engine will be horrible. Or it may be designed so well it will become the new "DE"
