Guys I have a M56x 2011 and I have replaced my battery with more powerful one.
I looked up the internet and the replacement to the NISSAN stock battery is the VARTA e23 (here is the link: https://www.varta-automotive.com/en-gb/ ... 70-412-063 )
which has 70Ah and CCA: 630 A

I have replaced it with VARTA e39 (here is the link: https://www.varta-automotive.com/en-gb/ ... 70-901-076 ) it has capacity of 70Ah but the CCA is 760 A. In addition to this the E39 is a Gel based battery meanwhile the E23 is acid based.

Can this change to a more powerful battery , and a change from acid to Gel be the cause for my M56 not starting sometimes ? I need to press the ignition button 5-6 times to get the car started.
But this happens in 50/50 times.
I have replaced the key FOB battery also, but no change.

Thank You

The new battery should have absolutely nothing to do with your starting issue, assuming it is properly charged. What actually happens when you press the start button? Does the car attempt to turn over, do you get any dash lights or symbols on the display?

When I press the start button it makes a strange noise (ding...) from under the hood which can be heard from the interior. It just refuses to make the stater work. and after couple of presses, sometimes it takes 6-7 attempts, and the starter reacts.
I don't know what this means...
I think its a voltage problem and lack of electric power on start causes this issue. Maybe the alternator causes this issue, who knows.

At the bottom of my post I will copy-paste my response to this question, since you asked a version of it in a different thread. But first, my response to your opening post:

Can you with fair certainty say that your issues started when you replaced your battery with this Varta one?

For what it's worth, the car calls for a 12V-75Ah, 720 CCA battery. That is for US models. Like you, I sometimes have starting issues - unlike you, they are not as frequent.
When my original Infiniti branded battery kept dying on me in the summer I replaced it with an aftermarket battery, which worked wonders* (most times)
Edited to add:-
I found that the Infiniti battery in my M56 was unsuitable based on both CCA and Reserve Capacity - when I ran the part number, it shows that it's meant for an Infiniti G35, although all my other M56 batteries have the same part number (error at the factory? :gotme ). So the next best thing I could get was this name brand aftermarket one, but I've just never gotten to a dealership to buy the proper one.

If you have access to your OEM battery, could you read the specs on it and share with us?

I have experienced the click-no-start issue but not come to a definitive solution yet.

What I've found however, is that warm starts seem to be more prone to the click-no-start issue. My first start of the day/a few hours parked are always crisp, but if I parked the car at a store and came out after only a few minutes, the car might have a starting issue.

Most times I follow the owner's manual recommendation to wait a little while after stopping before turning it off and most times it starts with the first button push.

Full disclosure - I have an aftermarket battery with the wrong spec

If the car starts after 6-7 attempts, then the battery has sufficient voltage and amperage to start the engine. Your new battery has specs that are higher than required, if possible, check the voltage prior to starting and post the result. Your symptoms seem to be pointing to either a starter issue, or possibly an ignition problem. Do you have another key that you could try?
