M56 vibration at light

I recently purchased a used m56x and I have noticed that there are vibrations that can be felt from the seat when the car is stopped at a light in gear. These vibrations does not happen when idling in park. The vibrations are worse when temperatures are below freezing. The vibrations are not constant and comes and goes lasting around 5 seconds.

Could anyone let me know if this is a normal characteristic of this engine? I have noticed on several m56 I test drove that the engine is not as smooth in low revs.

What year is your M?

There is a TSB for irregular idle on the 2011 model, but I think it only applies to vibrations while the engine is cold... rather than in cold ambient temperatures. If you have warranty coverage available, I would certainly take it in to see if there's a fix.
