My 5-SMD's fit in the License Plate housing. It is tight but the cover will go on and seal. I can definitly see people being unconfortable with the tight fit though. Me not so much, I make things fit.SwissCheeseHead wrote:The license plate lights are 194's also but the 5smd wedge type bulb will not fit as the bulb itself is too tall to fit the cover over it. I ended up ordering a flat style 194 ...
Osram Sylvania lists the "Dome Light" as a #175. This is why on my first list I had it listed as a #175 too. But this is only for the rear Dome/Reading lights as DoN_BLaZe34 pointed out to me (and then youIlyaKol wrote:The front dome light is 175 which can use a 194 light since it's the same family (if you search 178 on vleds site they come back with results for 194s). Just confirming...lol.
Oh now that sucks.IlyaKol wrote:Oh okay, that's why it pays to confirm lol.
Damn, I could have reused the fronts from the other car (which I left in there).

Thank you!IlyaKol wrote:I'll update the first post.
Haha, yeah that's me. My daily job involves information processing and knowledge base management. The work habits spill over into everything else.IlyaKol wrote:I like you man, you're a lot like me (organized with excel tables/spreadsheets, etc.). I'm going to be adding a ton of HowTo's over the next few weeks as I bring this car up to snuff maintenance wise (oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.).
Hey IlyaKol,IlyaKol wrote:Hey, need some help.
I went to install the footwell lights and I must have burnt a fuse somewhere. The interior lights still work when I manually click the front dome lights, but they don't turn on when the door opens. Same for the footwell lights. The door ones still work though when the door opens.
I checked every fuse I can think of to no avail. Didn't see any bad ones.
The footwell lights were light seized in their holders...I used needle nose pliers and completely shattered the passenger side one and the driver side one as I pulled it out that's when I think everything went nuts.
Looks like you posted the answer to my question at the same time I asked it. Let me login to my work laptop and see what info I can find for you.IlyaKol wrote:Anyone? Really want/need this fixed. Any ideas what fuse controls ONLY the overhead interior lights but not the door lights? Also, if it's a fuse, how come I can turn the overhead lights on manually?
Well i could not find a fuse block map for this car. Weird. So I looked up the wiring schematic for it. It only shows the BCM fuse. You might need to check the wiring going to the foot-well lights, and the sockets themselves. If the door puddle light still turns on and off based on the doors-witch then the switch is still working which is a good thing. And if the BCM was shot I think you would have a lot more issues. I hope the solution turn out to be a quick and easy one for you.IlyaKol wrote:I must've touched the pliers on the connectors or something and shorted something somewhere. But I can't find the fuse. Thanks man.

Maybe I'll go buy a consult lol...three Nissan's in the family (2002 Altima, 2011 M56, and 2014 Pathfinder).Debonair wrote:From what I see on this BCM the factory tool might be needed to read the programming from the old BCM and then write it to the new one. Keep us posted.
