M56 Front Bra?

Looking for a front bra for my 2011 M56x. Had a 2006 M35 before and the paint got pretty badly chipped when taking the car into the mountains.

Anyone bought a front bra for an M with the new body style? If you bought a bra for the previous body style M, let me know where you got it and what your experience has been like.

Looking at buying from http://www.colgancustom.com right now since Infiniti does not offer their own bra for the 2011 M. Any other ideas?

congrats on your purchase and welcome to NICO...

...well, I never had a bra -- the black 'leather type' before, but I had clear bra's put on a few of my cars and they've been great...I'm waiting until I get my front bumper done then I'll put it on the M

here in Cali, the only things I was afraid of were the rock chips when driving high speeds...but I'm sure it'll give you protection while you're driving to the mountains...

positives = you don't have to worry about taking it off...it looks like nothing is on your car...you get great protection year 'round

negatives = some installs can be expensive...I only had the front bumpers done, (some folks get side mirrors and complete hood done)

I have a 3 M clear Bra, and couldn't be more pleased. I live in Las Vegas, and with the gravel trucks and crap continually hitting the car it looks like new. You can see it if you look real close. No one has mentioned it unless I tell them it's there. I recommend it and would do it again. pro-tectfilm.com/Las-Vegas

The main issue for me is 2-3 trips per year I take through the mountains here in British Columbia. Therefore, I'd prefer the idea of a (lower cost) traditional bra (since I would only put it on for a couple weeks per year) rather than a $500+ clear bra. Anyone bought a black bra for the M at all?

never seen the normal black bra on a new M, but I am with the rest and have the 3M clear bra on my M35h.. Best investment I have done.

Have an 08 M35 and did the 3M clear bra. Search for the thread "ClearBra" and you'll see some pics I posted.
