Doing a diy project with a cellular android tablet to have more modern radio. Pic arrows are not accurate (not a drawing expert). Under the chrome piece there is a recessed lip. I need to fit the tablet under the recessed lip. Need the height official measurements from Nissan, if possible as my measurement was 4.50ish inches and the tablet is 4.48 inches wide. Its online and not returnable.
The tablet is $36. At&t charges $15/month for unlimited data service. So pretty inexpensive if works. Will not be integrated with existing nav to see vehicle diagnostic features. Tablet is for nav and music and any other app.
TIA

I would just buy a similar tablet locally that is returnable, test fit and then return. Trusting using to be 1000000% price with such a measurement that will likely have small tolerances (otherwise tablet will go flying) is not something I'd probably trust...no offense to anyone here :).

The issue is, that the cheapo ones are hard to find that are in good shape and reasonably priced. Plus I was going to buy couple of those cell phone magnetic plates and magnetic. Mound the plates behind the pieces on the side of screen on either side and the magnetic on the tablet. Again just visualizing all this but don't just want to waste money. I will keep researching and if it happens then it does. Thanks man!

I am specific looking at the LG V410 G Pad on the At&t network. Waiting for a few folks to send me IMEI number to make sure they are compatible with the At&t network. They are between $35-$50 for pre owned ones. They are 7 inch tablet and 4.48 inches wide which I hope it fits recessed in front of of the nav screen. Hold it in place with magnets so easily removable. Not in a hurry, so taking my time to find the best deal on the tablet and in the best shape.
