M56 - Ability to play videos while driving

Hi, I have a 2012 Infiniti M56 and I would like to play videos from my iPhone or iPad while driving. They play while parked but they stopped when you shift into gear.

There has to be a way to override this function. Yes, I do understand the safety function but I would like it to play so that kids can watch movies and stop screaming!
