Anybody know if this 2011 M56 car has Homelink Security+ 2.0 installed?
IOW, does the 2011 M56 car's built-in Homelink system work with new garage openers that now have a YELLOW learn button?

Problem is, I gotta replace my old garage door opener. It had a PURPLE learn button that used Homelink Security+ (ie, version 1.0, not 2.0) rolling codes, which worked great with our 2011 M56. But new garage openers use the new standards. Does the car?

FYI, the learn button COLOR signifies its vintage & which standard it follows.

I have a 2016 lift master with my q Wi-Fi. It has a yellow learn button and it works fine with my 2011 m56S

It should work fine. Here is the link to the instructions for Infiniti:

Thanks for the confirmations.

I also checked that Homelink web site before buying & installing a new Chamberlain C610C garage door opener. It has a new-fangled yellow learn button. Yep, my 2011 M56x Homelite buttons work great with it. Whew!

Bonus: I also like how this opener automatically closes the garage door after 10 minutes of no activity on motion sensor. I won't use Wifi or MyQ smartphone features.
