This is a reach out for anyone that might be interested in changing their saggy plastic splash shield. Ive reached out to Tollboothwilley the maker of the very nice TBW Infiniti M35X Aluminum Engine Splash Shield about making a M45X shield. Seeing that their is no one that is stepping up from the M45X side wanting this shield. I'm taking the jump to see if there is any of us M45X owners that love seeing their car look sexy but to see that saggy plastic hang is a true drag  . So this is a plead for any M45X owners wanting to do this mod Please let your self be known please and maybe just maybe TBW will make a M45X version.

I'd be interested but it'd have to be < $100

The M35x version is $165, so you will not be getting one for under $100. If you do your own oil changes, have an under tray (splash guard) with a door for accessing the filter and drain plug is great, and worth the cost IMO.

I'm too lazy to do my own oil changes.

I agree well worth the money if its over $165 i would still be interested. Heard too many good things from M35 owners with the splash shield. So why not have it for the 45

Obviously TBW has to decide is it worth the cost to R&D a new template for the M45x guys vs how many will he sell...
I wonder how many M35x splash shields he's sold relative to the regular M35?

I'm gonna guess not many...I got lucky - I got one as soon as I found out it fit the RWD M45, although the oil door doesn't give you full access to the filter like the M35 one does. Still, the quality of it blows the OEM plastic piece o' sh*t out of the water!!!!

(not to discourage you) but even if you have a roll call of folks who say they're interested, actually plunking down bucks and buying it is a total different ball game.

we had a list of about a dozen guys when TBW first announced sale of the shield, not sure how many ended up purchasing one

I see similar pricing, and I am in. No rattles, better oil access, less screws, no bowing.... In.
