Hi All,I am toying with the idea of if I want to lower my car. I have been actively watching the Lowering Spring thread, but I have a few specific questions so I created this one.

If I am able to get the japanese TEIN springs, I have the following questions:1) Where can I get the best price on front and rear struts? I checked infinitiparts.com but I couldnt easily determine the overall price. Also, it is my understanding there are no aftermarket struts available. Finally, will the stock struts be ok with lowering springs without sacrificing life?

2) For the front suspension, I believe the spindle is connected to the strut. WHat parts will I need in addition to the front struts? Ball Joints? Anything else? Aside from the bearings having to be pressed on (so Ill just buy new ones), is there anything else I will need to have pressed like a ABS ring or anything? If someone has all part numbers/names of gaskets I will need that would help too.

3) What is teh all in cost of this job? Including all hw?

4) ANYONE HAVE THESE SPRINGS FOR SALE? I have seen them around 250 bucks and would love to pick them up after all these questions are answered.

Also, I have done a full suspension install when I lowered my nissan maxima. So I think I will have some idea, but the front does look a lot different on the y34.

Finally, are airbags available as an option?

Hey Drips,I'm in the exact same boat as you! I have been doing some insane searching the past month, calling companies with no such real luck.

I am talking to Bulletproof automotive about getting a set of Espelir springs... I will keep you posted on how this goes. Also I will try spring compressors in the mean time.

Keep me posted on what you find!

Make sure you confirm with him that you are talking about the Y34 ... because I thought that Eibach had stopped making springs for those model years.
