Tirerack question: I got me a 2003 M45, looking for suspension components, found only the Eibach's on your site, no shocks. Is something going to be available for my car soon, or is it recommendable to just do the Eibach's (car is new) with stock shocks?

Also, looking at wheels and tires: You have the SSR GT3's at 19x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear (which I like), with an optional 275/35/19 for the rear. If I go forward with this purchase, I want to go wide in the back, as wide as I can. I found a 295/35/19, with 27.1 overall diameter and 764 rpm (Yoko's), compared to the 275/35/19 with 26.5 and 785 (Bridgestone), 26.3 being stock. Would that 295 fit? It's measuring rim width would fit on the 10.5., not sure if it would fit in the fender.

Thanks. A returning customer (check the pictures for my SE-R, the MM's and Kumho's are from you guys).

I'll help a bit.-eibach springs are designed to work with the stock dampers, but will work 'better' with sport dampers.-I would leave the 275-35-19 since it will be closer to your OD, both fo ABS and gearing, and the size will fit more flushly with the wheel and provide a better bead seat. I am unsure if the 295 would fit....but the 275 is a very wide tire....I cant think of anything needing wider than that(with few exceptions) esspecially since the contact patch area doesnt change...

I really, really doubt that such wide tires (at 295) would fit in the fender of the M45. I have spent time looking for just the right set of tires for my M, and think that anything wider than 265 (assuming that you have just the right wheel and offset to make this work) is going to create a problem.

With the stock wheels, I am going to use 245/45-18's next change, and this is way wide enough for me ...

We covered this on the backside via email but Chet and Z are correct on all points. Eibach still has the spring set in R&D right now and we are waiting on a firm production date.
