Almost all vehicle brake pads available are a mixture of metallic and ceramic materials. Each company has it's own secret sauce in an attempt to optimize one factor.............usually low cost of production.

Companies buy the oem sized backing plates and slap their formula on and call them oem fit and finish performance pads.........all without ever ONCE testing the pads on the car they sell them to fit.

Unlike EU and Japan there are zero US requirements that the replacement pads must even meet oem minimums for cold or hot stop prowness.

Much like playing craps buying replacement pads.

Stock pads (and a shim kit on hand if needed) is always a good idea along with a DOT4 fill.

I have had great performance from the Stillen Brembo (palted and drilled) that Joe sells for great prices on specials at

http://www.infinitpartsusa.com

Call them. I know Stillen was running special on the F50 rotors recently.

Don't know a thing about EBC, who they are, the composition of their rotors, etc. As long as they are not made in China, they might be good.
