Actually I have seen M56x with the Akebono installed from the factory. But here is an example:DoN_BLaZe34 wrote:Correct, when I had the Akebono's on my 45, 15mm spacers made the sport 19's clear the caliper.
All of this is null and void since he's getting a 56x which won't have the sport calipers lol.
Correct. The M56xS, like the one in your link, have them from the factory, the M56X does not. OP is looking at a 2011 and the "S" version of the M56 was not offered until 13' (I think).CRV_33 wrote:Actually I have seen M56x with the Akebono installed from the factory. But here is an example:

That car is a 13 56xS so it has the sport package along with AWD. That's outside of what I was speaking to.CRV_33 wrote:Actually I have seen M56x with the Akebono installed from the factory. According to the chart provided by Debonair, the M37/M56 20" Sport alloys are wider and sit further away from the wheel hubs. This gives the car a much better stance and also more clearance if you ever do decided to upgrade your brake system to the Akebono calipers.Big_Tone wrote:So with my M45 sport wheels having a 50mm offset, am I to assume they will sit wider than the factory M56 wheels that have a 43mm offset? Or do I have that backwards?
Debonair wrote:A quick search returned these numbers. I am 80% sure they are correct.![]()
M45 19' Sport Wheels - 19 x 8.5 / 50mm
M37/56 Base Wheels - 18 x 8 / 43mm
M37/56 Sport Whees - 20 x 9 / 43mm

"Package 2" is the Y51 18" wheel.
