My passenger light needs to be replaced and I have been looking around. I have found individual lights for anywhere from $120 to $150 each then I got to looking on eBay. I found these two on eBay, does anyone know if they will work?

I would stick with OEM bulbs or brands, either Osram or Philips. If you want the stock bulbs here try this guy, I have done plenty of business with him and he has some of the best prices. Here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo

buhdda, those look like high beam bulbs.

Oh, I guess I should also ask, Why do you think it is the bulbs to begin with? It could be the ballast also. Switch the bulbs from right to left and see if the problem follows the bulb or stays on the same side.cheers

So, are these the exact bulbs for my 03 M45? If they are I will buy them.

Thanks!

I can also vouvh for Akinboy. I have bought casules from him. Great Ebayer and prices rock.

The dealer will nail you over 2 bills when said in done if you go that route.

If your worried about color, I'd order 2 capules so that they both match. The new capsule will not be colorshifted so it will look more yellow until it reaches about 100 hours of use.

Your other alterantive is to buy a single Phillips D2R 85122+. They are rated at 5k and probably closest to a colorshifted bulb. They are hard to come by.

Make sure you do not touch the capsules w/ your bare hands, and disconnect both battery cables before messing around w/ HID.

the 85126+ are a good bulb to get but you still might have different colors to worry about, sometimes. There are a few options for OEM manuf. bulbs. There is the 85126 Philips, 85126+ colorshifted, Osram 66050, or the Philips 85126 WX which is the Ultinon 6000K(which is what I am running and I think they are worth the money!), and if you really want the 3000K(yellow) Philips 85126 YX. They are all made by the OEM suppliers Osram and Philips and are the ONLY bulbs that I would ever use, Im even iffy about using rebased bulbs from aftermarket HID kits. Do a search on Ebay and you should find a price you can deal with. I have to inform you that there a lot of copy cat bulbs out there, make sure you buy from someone that has a high feedback rating. And to second what nmgoodthing said, you should look into just replacing the pair and not just one. Oh and buying just one bulb from the dealership will run you $150 plus, just FYIcheers

Thanks guys! I bought the lights from that guy on eBay you guys recommended. It comes with the pair, so I will be replacing both of them.

Now if I can get rid of the seat squeek and get the gas gauge to read correct I'd be happy!

LOL, Im in the same boat Shane. My gauge is almost always on full, sometimes if I smack the dash above the instruments it goes to where it should, so Im thinking my problem might be the cluster but I havent taken it apart yet to take a peek, Im too lazy lately.

I was reading on here about the squeaky seat, so I raised mine up a little and it doesn't squeak now. I'm down to 1 problem now.
