BTW, it's my first time posting on these boards, but I have been reading them for quite some time (before the move). Glad to be here.

Hi Brent. Great link! The M45's are on sale now? I thought we had a few more weeks to go yet.

The Infiniti dealer in Flemington, NJ got 10 or so M45s on Friday. When I went by on Staurday they were still in the plastic wrap. They were all optioned the same with prices between $45K and $46K.

They are not much fun to look at.

I was just having my oil changed at Peninsula Infiniti (for 40 bucks your cannot beat it in the Bay Area along with the wash) and was just killing time when the sales rep saw me checking out the new M45 that they had on the showroom. He asked if I wanted to drive it, I said sure but I wasn't in the market to buy a car. He said he didn't care, so we went for a drive. Well I guess since it was kinda dead there at 1:00pm on a wednesday he said got to the freeway so we did.

First off, rides nice and handles great. Feels smaller than either pop's 92 or my 97. The car is smallish in the back but plenty of room in the front. You can sure tell the difference with that rear versus the one on the 02 Q that I drove several months ago. The fit and finish of the car are quite nice. If you were out looking at buying a used 540i or GS400 for 40-50k (about what a 2-3 year old 40-50k one goes for) you would owe it to yourself to have a look at this car. The one I drove had a sticker of 49k and had EVERYTHING, voice, nav, the whole ball of wax.

Not buying one tomorrow but I was very impressed.
