I have an 2008 M45 that I have a key issue ( I think ). The key that I had seemed to loose its ability to be programmed. We had the new key programmed and it worked great for 2 days, but now will not even open the door. Has anyone else had this problem ? I'm wondering if it could be the some receptor in the car that is malfunctioning and not the key since that's now 2 keys not lasting.

There have been key fob issues related to the fob itself or the receiver unit in the car. Tell us if it's just the unlock feature? or is the fob unable to do anything including start the car? Will the car start if the key fob is placed in the socket inside the dash?
