M45 High Idle when in gear

This has happened a few times already. After driving the car and turning it off for about 30 minutes and driving off again my idle would sit at 1000rpm at a dead stop in gear. This is with the engine fully at operation temperature. Normally it idles at 650rpm in gear but 1000rpm is just weird. After 15 minutes of driving it never dropped down and still staying at 1000rpm. Everytime I let off the brakes slowly the car wants to lunge ahead cause of the high idle. Outside temp was about 70 to 78 degrees today so I dont know whats up with the car.

My M35 idles high as well. When I first bought it the car would idle around 650rpm. Then as I have been driving it hard the past couple weeks I notice that it has been idling around 800rpm now. If I have been driving it REALLY hard for a couple days (flooring it almost every accelleration, stopping hard, taking turns fast, averaging around 90mph) I notice that it will idle for 20 seconds or so around 1150rpm before dropping down to 700rpm if I am still not moving. I kinda like the extra power feeling when I take my foot off the brake.
