M45 Gas Milage

Based on my family's return trip from San Jose to Los Angeles. Total passenger/cargo weight rounded off at 500 lbs., running between 70 to 90 mph and with air condition on at low setting. Travelled 377.9 miles on 18.25 gallons = 20.7 miles per gallon. Computer on screen states 20.9 miles per gallon.

Not bad, i suspect that once your M gets broken in mroe youll see better mileage... how miles do you have on the car?

That is pretty good mileage for the speed you were at.

Currently 1,250 miles and will have my first oil change when I get off work tomorrow.

I agree. I think for a high performance car, anything over 18 miles should be acceptable.

BTW, i noticed in our grand prix we didnt see peak gas mileage till at least 3000-4000 miles
